A point on evolution.
People say that we are created by gods.
People say that we are created by random elements.
People say that aliens created us.
Creationism, inteligent design, evolution these are not seperate issues.
They are all part of the same thing that creates life on this planet.
People say the evolution couldn't possibly work because there isn't enough
time involved.
They say that humans started out 20 to 40 thousand years ago.
This planet is over 5 billion years old.
The process of the formation of life began then just not in any form that we understand.
As a human we simply can not grasp the concept of what a billion years is like.
That much time passing is beyond our ability to understand.
Humans didn't start out after the dinosaurs died that started with them.
The creatures, the life forms that eventually became humans lived along side those animals
and adapted to this current life form over a vast period of time.
Just because we didn't start out looking like we do doesn't me we had to.
But the real question is why did life occur at all?
To answer this we must understand why anything happens.
The best example is the formation of Ice.
As water reaches certain temperature, atmospheric, and humidity levels it begins to
form a complex yet unifying structure.
This structure is the same through out the entire block of ice and it happens on it's own
because it has to happen in order for ice to form.
This same process is how life began.
The construction for life is like that crystalization, the molecular cohesion that causes the
formation of the double helix.
Now people will say that this in itself is proof of a divine or intelligent hand in the creation
of life.
However we must look at the nature of humanity itself to deside how these things came to be.
It's part of human nature to mate.
It's also part of human nature to want to be close to other humans, it also part of human nature
to want solitude. Thus in order to mate one must be part of a group.
The chances of mating are increased in larger groups, so in order for humans to be in
larger groups there must be another reason to gather.
Thus the humans create dances, bon fires, dinner parties, rituals, the internet and religions.
The biggest question of all is:
Did "god" create humans to live, mate and be happy or did the need to live, be happy and mate
create "god".
